     This manual is a complementary material to the textbook of the Czech language for foreigners ”Bạn có muốn nói tiếng Séc không?“ (Volume 1).

     It is intended for Chinese- and Vietnamese-speaking foreigners – beginners and intermediate learners.

     The 15 lessons of this manual correspond to the 15 lessons of the basic textbook – both in its vocabulary and as far as the discussed grammatical phenomena are concerned. Lesson 16 is a revision lesson. The lessons contain many different types of grammatical and lexical exercises, communication exercises and texts relating to various subjects. You will work independently, with a colleague or in a group. The types of the exercises are deliberately different from those in the textbook. All this will help you to acquire the subject matter of the basic textbook – ie grammatical structures, vocabulary, ability to understand an independent oral and written expression in the given thematic fields. Your linguistic knowledge and skills will be systematically strengthened and deepened. The exercises do not contain any unknown grammatical phenomena; the unknown words are listed directly in the given exercise.

     At the end of the manual there is the Grammatical Index for easier orientation.

     You will use the manual both during the instruction with the teacher and during your independent work at home. It also serves for individual study and individual repetition.
